Quinte Fishing

Hey, new to the site. I made my first trip to Desoronto this past Sunday and caught a bunch of perch and had a nice bite and some guy told me about whitefish and trout. What could I all catch in Desoronto? what type of trout? I also noticed everyone leaving around 3-4 which is od, seeing how on my home lake people usually come out at that time for walleye.

I know, I don't get that either. Even on the Ottawa, my buddies and I see many people leaving at 2:30-3:30. Heck it's usually just starting to get good

Oh well, maybe they have to work

As for the Trout, Lakers, Browns and Bows inhabit the Lake Did I forget any guys But what you'll catch in Deseronto, I can't say for sure.

I was out on Saturday afternoon. I was fishing beside
a guy that saw a very large lake trout swim by while
watching his Aqua-Vu screen. He figured it was 10-15 lbs.

There may be Lake Trout in the area, but I have never seen
one caught. Must need to target them a specific way.
