Anyhow, Laker John and I headed out again at 0800 from the Shermans Ramp and followed our trail from Saturday to the point where we got sidetracked and we saw how we got turned around. Old News.
Finding our 'Spot' in Long Reach after a 35 min walk, we fished from 0845 to 1400. Laker John had three hits and missed all of them.
I tried almost every lure in the box and never had a touch, well maybe one, but I'm not sure.
Only three weeks left with hard water fishing, the pressures mounting
On our way back to the ramp, we found our trail from the return on Sat. and it was in a straight line with the ramp, so we were going the right way.
Hope to try again, don't know when all fishing will be suspended with the arrival of the grandson
