To post a photo below your name you have to take the photo you want to use and "make it smaller". Becuase they recommend it to be no more than 80x80 pixels. Most photos are much bigger and need to be reduced.
You will need a photo editing package likely to do that. But maybe not, depending on the version of Windows Operating System you're using.
Click "Start" in the bottom left corner. Then select "Programs" then "Accessories" and finally "Paint".
Your "Paint" software will open. Now click "File" then "Open".
Locate the photo you want to use as your avatar and resize it accordinly.
If you don't have the "Paint" accessory on your operating system, the other option is getting a freeware version of a photo editor package and resizing it with that.
Short of that, send me the photo you want to use and I can resize it for you quickly.

Once you have the photo resized the way you want it, you just have to add it to your profile. We can deal with that when you get to that point if you still need help....
