Quinte Fishing

Hi everyone I am new to the board, just recently purchased my first boat that can handle some bigger water from another board member "Erie-Eyes". I am just getting to know the boat and I will be planning on making my first trip to quinte this fall with my dad, we will likely come up in October and hope some of the bigger walleyes are coming back in. We have fished with friends there in the fall around the Glenora area and infront of the cement plant, the usual areas where all the boats go that time of year.

I am wondering if there are still small walleyes to be caught in the Thompson and Sherman pt areas or is it just the big ones that time of the year? I don't expect anyone to give up there spots or lures just looking to pick some brains.

If you want smaller eyes then jig. If you troll you will definitely get bigger fish on average but it sounds like you want them for the pan and you can get smaller 3-4 lbers trolling as well
