Strong winds on Monday kept me at the dock, but it didn't turn so bad. Tied on an old #3 mepps spinner I've had for 30 years plus. First cast 2 small perch fought for it all the way to the dock. 2nd cast small large mouth. 3rd cast this 5.59lbs rogue walleye smashes it. After only one other dismal outing on the water the whole weekend this bad boy made my weekend! :D

Nice! They seem to be in shallower water these days

Was out yesterday around shermans and caught a couple big sheephead, just before dark had a big strike on the worm harness started pulling drag and figured another sheephead so I horsed it in but turned out to be a 10.5 pound walleye. Was a great last minute suprise.

Wow I thought mine was a rogue. After catching 1 to 3 pounders all summer seems a bit early for these larger walleye. Yes/No?

Is it just me, or does it look like that is out in the lake near the false ducks, or maybe even main duck?

this one and 3 others out near aldopholus reach, but yes, tachnically the main lake. 3 others were taken inside the reach suspended in the water column. the farther up we went, the less and smaller fish we caught
