Well all my my dear friends on the fishing forum, after a month in hospital, with a few health issues, I finally now have a moment to say, I made the decision to leave the Quinte area, and
buy a beautiful home on the shore of Lake Erie, in Port Burwell.

I have the lake, and launch in my front yard. Lake Erie is an amazing fishery. My wife bought me my new 25.5 ft. Wellcraft for me to fish the big waters of Erie. Will do my first fish on Friday, fishing is red hot at the moment, so will update you on how we do. So to all my friends in Quinte, Shawn, Gerry, Dan, Dave, and the many more that have made 15 years in Quinte a real blast. I'm going to miss you all.

Thank you,

The Blue Pickerel.

Hi Donn, it looks like you have some great days ahead. What a wonderful wife you must have to buy you such an awesome boat. I look forward to seeing some pictures of you with some great catches.
We are heading up to Wada October 7th so hopefully we'll have another moose story for you then.
Take care of yourself and enjoy that boat!
Dave

Blue,
Sorry to see you go. Guess I won't be able to barter walleye for pepperettes anymore. Dang! Wishing you and your family all the best and hope you stop by the board here with a report and pictures once in a while. Enjoy Erie
