Quinte Fishing

The guest speaker at the next CLOSA general meeting on Aug. 16th at 7 pm will be Andy Todd the Lake Ontario manager.

Andy will stop by and have a chat about general topics re Lake Ontario/MNRF etc…. He has a cool 10 minute MNRF Great Lakes video that covers all the great lakes. Andy will give a short talk on “Where your fishing and hunting license dollars go?”.

In general it will be a chance to ask any questions that you have about Lake O, Bay of Quinte and in general Zone 20.

Also I have a short presentation about the movement of a chinook salmon that was tagged and caught last summer in Lake Ontario. One morning this king moved from 65 feet down to 265 feet and back up to 65 feet 44 times in 6 hours. Repeated this event 33 times in the evening.

Meeting place is the Carrying Place United Church hall.
