Went out today for 10 hours. Fished off Deseronto, down Long Reach and Telegraph Narrows.

Marking lots of fish on the bottom and large schools of bait fish. The bait fish were boiling on the surface today.

Caught several bass and they puked up small bait fish, couldn't tell what kind.

Tried the weeds, bottom bouncing. trolling and jigging. Nothing.

It's been a great year to this point so I'm not too tore up about it.

Going to take a break and get my bow hunting organized.

Maybe try again in a week or so.

Including a picture of my fall project.

Saw some fish caught on Friday at Thompson's and heard of a bunch caught Saturday AM.

All we caught was a crappie, which was delicious fried in bacon grease.

had a good outing today. started at 2:30 and had the biggest of the day by 2:35, a 19 inch chunky eater. Added 11 more over next 5 hours, most in the 16-19 inch range. Thompsons was slow but trolling worm harnesses in the bays was productive.
