Anyone been to or planning on going to port hope for the salmon and browns soon? Ive never been but was just wondering if anyone had any info about how busy it gets what the fishing is like and how likely you are to be tackled to the ground for accidentally snagging one (joking)

Wait until the next rain event (10mm or more) and fish downstream of the boat launch. Alternately you could chuck glow in dark spoon from the pier with the midnight crew.

Well I was there last week after the rain and it was a zoo, lots of fish in the river running up and lots of "anglers" fishing
