I live in the county but haven't fished consecon. Ever. Wouldn't mind hitting it up but as seems to always be the case, access is the tough part. Just need a flat spot on shore.

Any advice (here or on private message) would be appreciated.

Edward Dr. Is a launch into Wellers Bay. You could launch a kayak at the bridge on 33. That will get you into the west side of Consecon Lake. Another option is to carry your kayak down the old railbed. The rail line had a causeway that crossed the lake. From there you could access both sides of the lake

Both are great options...but if you are going down the old railbed, you will need a cart....it's a bit of a haul. the kayak should be able to pass under the bridge

I checked it out in June and July but it was pretty deep fast water even then. Guess that makes sense. Maybe I'll try it again. If I had gone in there early summer it would have been a yard sale of my stuff flowing into Wellers :)
