was out today so experimented a bit. having the bow mounted trolling motor turned back against me definitely worked, but I had to give it 50% power to get me down to 1.2 mph, so figured I might as well just turn off the outboard and troll with the Minnkota only, at about 80% to get 1.2 mph. will pick up a drift bag next time at bass pro and give that a shot.

Managed just two 16 inch walleye and a ton of small perch and silver bass tonight. suprisingly got them both soon after dropping lines at around 3:15 and 3:45, then nothing, fished till 8. As with previous time, stayed close to the Ferry launch and worked the bays just north of it.
