With the calm winds of late hit the lake for smallies on the weekend. Fish were everywhere in the water column. First area we fished pulled up 4 fish from 35-50' and lost one. Every one of them 5.0 to 5.4. Next area was between 20-35' and caught more fish but smaller average size. Ended the day fishing shallower water and found fish there too with a mix of big and small fish. Everything came on dropshots and tubes both in goby color. Here's a pic of the first fish of the day caught by Cymbals

I'd like to tag along this thread about the Sunday fishing.

We left the ramp after Dan & Cymbals and trolled all day landing a pair of small sheepies, a 7 lb pike and this nice 5lber. A good day on the water although we couldn't find the target species- walleye.

We'll be back - as Arnie once said.
