Anyone ever been up to Seymour conservation area? Was up there with my kids and can't be certain but it sure looked to me like I could see trout swimming around in the little pond. Anyone got any input?

It's promoted as part of the family fishing day, and allows kids to catch rainbows....see any big ones?

The area is also known for its collection of oak trees (savanah)

Heres the date for next years kids derby....its free and they can win prizes and such https://www.visittrenthills.ca/seymour- ... shing-day/

Interesting. Saw quite a few grouped near the centre of the pond. Looked to be 2-3 lbs. could be a good place to get the kids onto a fly rod.
