Quinte Fishing

I repeatedly notice what sounds like, (from a distance) that the yellow perch are getting larger as opposed to catching smaller but numerous ones. I am very curious to see what some others have to say. Please comment as this sounds like something that is slowly catching anglers attention.

I agree . We seem to be geting more perch in the 10 - 12 inch range than ever . We noticed this last year but thought maybe it was just good luck . At the end of last year in one weekend we caught 20 perch in the 10-12 inch range . We can only hope this trend keeps going . They are fun to catch and make a tasty treat . We have only been getting 2 or 3 nice ones a day so far this year but it should get better as it nears ice out .
