Quinte Fishing

HI there. Let me preface this by saying I just started ice fishing last season and both times I went were by the Bayside motel as we could quad on there. I do not know the area well and this may be a dumb arse question, but is it frozen enough to fish there yet? Taking my adult nephew on Saturday and he has never ice fished. So it is the blind leading the blind. We are coming from 4 hours away so I want to get things in a row as best as possible. Thanks for any input.

If anyone was out near the Bay by the marina i would appreciate any ice info.

Also, when walking out from the marina I go toward an island to the right (East?). Is that the island I see on maps at CFB Trenton or is it too small to show up on the maps? Tks again.

I think that’s the yacht club island of CFB you’re talking about
