How sloppy is the ice on the bay? I’m heading over this week during the warmup and I want to know what I’ll be dealing with lol. Are sleds and bikes getting stuck in the slush? Is there a lot of slush? Looks like more snow on the way for the weekend too yikes! Stay safe everyone!

I'm sure it'll be wet. I fished the Reach and there wasn't much snow off Huff's. Heard that there was quite a bit of snow on Hay Bay. One guy got stuck in the slush a couple of weeks ago at the north end of the Reach.
One thing for sure is, I wouldn't take a sled or ATV on the Reach. The ice is still isn't a consistent thickness.
They're still running work boats down Adolphus Reach and Picton Bay.
Good luck.

Ya, I’m not too worried about ice thickness in most areas. I’m more concerned with the crap on top of the ice. I’ll be walking out of huffs and probables driving out on big bay and hay bay. Last I heard, huffs was close to 8 near shore and down to 6 out in the channel with some sketchy spots around
