Very sorry to hear of his passing. He was a super nice guy and he will be missed for sure. i would visit with him every once in a while when he was down. Over the years I'm sure he has stayed at every single resort and cottage rental from one end to the other. RIP Blue Pickerel

This has everything to do about fishing. I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my my best fishing buddy about 10 years ago and since that day I released the first walleye I've caught each and every time that I go fishing. Unless it was a tourney and then I know he would be mad at me. Rest in Paradise.

I would like to thank you all for your kind words and for being such supportive people over the years for Donn.

I lost my Dad on January 9th and I am writing to you guys in thanks but also because I know that The Blue Pickerel would want me to say a few words.

Donn lived and breathed to fish. With his declining and compromised health over the years, it came to a point where it was very difficult to get him out. But he would demand it. Even in his final days, he would reflect and talk about you guys as some of the most supportive friends he has ever had. When he was able, and with his limited computer knowledge and abilities, he lurked this forum and talked about you guys like he knew you all for years... and expected me to know you all by name too! You were his brethren and he missed you the day he left Quinte.

Donn moved to the north shore of Lake Erie in mid 2017 and bought a big new boat for the wide open water. He had big plans to fish "The Blue Pickerel" but alas, he didn't have quite enough time to live it through.

I want to finish by again thanking you all for your kind words.

As my Pops would say, Grey skies and choppy water to you all.

Brenn
