Hey everyone, new to the board. Hope everyone is having a good hard water season so far. My name is Ludovic.

I was wondering if anyone can give me any tips on where to go on bay of quinte and what to use as bait for some gold? Going to go next Saturday or Sunday with my old man and my buddy. Its going to be our first time going out there so I was wondering if I can get any pointers. Not looking for anybody’s secret. Also, some access points would be great. Either going to go to Trenton or Belleville. Thnx everyone for the infor in advance.

Take a look at the 4th post on the Forum “Ice fishing Areas thanks Tylercurt”.
It will give all the information you need with the exception of ice conditions.

Gold colored lures seem to be preferred by most people that have shared on the forum. Champs are popular, Macho minnow, Buckshots, 3/4oz Gold Kastmaster, Swedish pimple, Johnson Slimfish, Sidewinder.
Good luck!

I like to use gold spoons and try to fish 17-25 fow. I jig fast and then pause, slowly lift and pause, then jog fast again. For spots for starting like was posted look at the access post. Good luck and be safe.

Thnx guys for the info. Hoping the ice will be good for Sunday. Most likely heading out by Belleville area. First time going out there so going to go with somewhere easy to walk out from with my old man. Once again I appreciate the information.
