I was out there a few days ago and it was about 6 inches in spots but there were a lot of places where it was less than an inch. May be ok now but I didn’t stick around. If you go out, be careful!

Too easy of a walk... too dangerous for an ATV. IMO

6" here and 2" ten feet away.

It's an area with fluctuating current, and in different spots. Where sometimes ice thickness is lost from beneath, even though you have very cold temperatures above!

I walked out Saturday night from parking lot and there was max 5 inches with only 2 being black, which is not enough for ATV to safely travel. Ice also broken up and inconsistent. I did see a few snowmobiles and quads about 300 yards west of green can. They came from the west though where I would assume the ice is safer. I also assumed they did not come further east to where the green can was as they knew the ice was not safe. As mentioned earlier, very short walk why risk it.

We also got 6"-8" of fresh snow today (Wednesday), and that's not gonna make walking any easier.

This is getting NUTS.
