Was up at my property on the Bay today... the amount of run off is incredible!
Won't catch me on the ice for a while... if again this season.

I think the good fishing had more to do with the 2014 and 2015 year classes then the high water. This spring should be even better. Can’t wait.

not over, just further away, went back north of Kingston this evening.(Wolf Lake ,by Westport)fished from 5 to 6:15-- 4 eyes and 2 -- 3 lbs small mouth,18" solid black ice. Wolf Lake Howl derby is on tomorrow ,while we were there a truck drove by with a 30' camper in tow.even with the mild weather in store ,the back lakes are going to hold ice until the end of the season,
don't forget to check slot limits before you take advantage of the other fishing options.

Lots of folks at Shermans this morning. Ice is still very good out here. All snow is knocked down and iced over from the freeze last night

Quads all over the place. 10+ inches pretty much everywhere it seemed. I driled two places, one out from the launch and one out pretty far. Had a peek at A few other fresh abandoned holes on the walk back and all same 10+ inches of black
