I believe that is a long way from being a good area to fish.. The harbor is full of comerants. It's a 24/7 open buffet for them..
I would bet that cormerants pick off the you fish quicker then they can stock anything in there.... If they culled the birds then and only then they would have a chance.. Just my opinion...

its where the people are so its where the money goes they have done some heavy stocking in HH a few years ago it was a dead zone

Wow. Things in HH are much improved.
Much of my fishing when I was a kid was in a tributary creek of Hamilton Harbour back in the early sixties. Yep, I'm that old. I used to get to the creek on my bike. That was when Hamilton was a major industrial town: two big steel mills, a car plant that made Studebakers, Westinghouse plants, Proctor and Gamble, etc. Those were the bad old days for pollution controls. You couldn't hang your laundry in the east end of the city for fear of it being coated in soot and dust from the steel mills. In Hamilton I used to catch carp, catfish and suckers for the most part.
In order to catch an exotic fish like a smallmouth bass, we would make the big drive down to Long Point Bay on Lake Erie. Back then I didn't even know what a walleye was.
