So...haven't fished there in years but when we had that problem with yahoo's we went and got the town Police, are you saying that this happens and no body does anything about it?

I can relate to this a few years back they were snagging at the Ontario St Bridge(this was late summer), looked like a broom handle and 150 pound fluro, I reported them to CO Mike who was travelling the river at that time.

People want to report they just find it hard to do, I can see where people stand back and watch. The phrase " Rat" Snitch" and what else may be the catch phrase of the day have people standing back and going "not me". It is so much easier to go with the flow then to stand out as the only one.

Still I can't believe that all those anglers do nothing while these criminals conduct their business under their noses. As I said I fished there for years and when there were issues like this (yes even 40 years ago) we went and got the Town police who always came down. Curious what happened when the CO were there? I am there quite a bit now as my mom is in a home in Port Hope and witnessed this cap last fall.....still miss the fishing but not the fighting, glad I have a boat now.
