Gord commented on the two most asked questions, why do we catch more male Walleye in the Spring and how do you know if you caught a male or female Wallskie? I was more interested in knowing how to distinguish male and female. Gord stated " I know most scientists can't distinguish male or female with any degree of accuracy in Walleye in the 14 to 16 inch range". Gord states that fatter Walleye are generally females but without dissecting them, it is very difficult to tell.
