Monsters they are not, usually in the 1 to 3-pound range seldom at least for me 4-5 pound. Pike galore and I have had a few in the 8-9 pound range. Fish it lots in the early season towards Healey in the fast and deep current by Cole's and it will move you along a drift at 8-9 m.p.h.
Hoping to find a musky in there I believe I rolled one but not certain. The area used to be good for musky but all that I have talked with say they have not been in there for a good number of years now. Carp is now a very prominent fish in at the top end towards the rapids. Bass is a fish that you will see many out there chasing and a lot of people set up in the area of Mud Lake.
