As crazy as it sounds, I braved the cold this morning and launched my kayak to try my luck for some early season browns. No fish pics today :D Water temp was 34 at it's highest and was gin clear. I made my around West Point towards Wellington and found lots of ice near shore. Still a little early IMO. I'll try again in a few weeks.

Don't get discouraged. People have been catching browns in Lake Ontario since mid February. You will get them

Trip # 2 and success. Not a huge brown, but at least not a skunk. Water temps. today were 36-37. Water still very clear.
