Hi all! was looking at taking my kids the area to show them the walleye running up the rivers! any clue as to if their is any coming up yet swell as best spots to see? Not from the area so didn't want to make the drive for nothing

Should wait another couple weeks dont think pike have even started to run yet,, rivers in belleville or Napanee are your best bet to see some ....

Nothing Yet at Springside Park in Napanee, The water level is up and down quite a bit and the flow is fast. Not sure about Coleman Street Belleville but will take a look and post in the next few days..

There is a beautiful hatchery where you can see the process as well as view natural spawning fish in the creek just north of Syracuse in constantia. If you ever get the chance, go see it. It would be a great learning experience for the kiddos as well as for adults. Make a day of it.

Factoring In the weather and conditions as of lately, the mouth of the Napanee river should be a (no surprise) hotspot come opening day.
