Just wondering if anyone has this unit or has used one. I know they're new to the market but just wanted to know how people liked or disliked them.

If I buy this unit, I'd get the one with maps.

Thanks,
Brian

We just acquired a Hook9, and our Son has been using one since last Fall.

Not much we are able to add personally, but can say it's by far the easiest hi-tech unit we've ever seen, or used. The screen clarity and detail are spectacular, btw.

Our Son swears by his, and at 44 yrs he only began fishing seriously last year.

The best news: with virtually zero Fish Finder experience, he was able to launch his boat on a maiden voyage for the unit, and in seconds had it fully operational by simply pushing the start button, along with a few (VERY few!) extra buttons. He's over the moon with the unit.
