Myself and three family members launched from the Glenora ferry around 8:30am this morning. We intended to launch from the church, but the winds forced us to change our plans. Besides, the dock is no longer in tact at the Church. That was a result of Friday’s wind storm. So, we headed to Sherman’s Point and came up with only a dozen perch. Then we made the trip up Long Reach and noticed quite a few boats with nets in the water. Although it was tempting to join the party, we decided to keep motoring to Mohawk Bay and to the mouth of the Napanee river. After about an hour we noticed that quite a few boats were catching fish, but we were coming up empty. We were only catching small perch and some other panfish. Once noontime rolled around, the bite turned on for us and we ended up netting 4 fish. All were caught trolling using a Copper spinner and homemade worm harnesses. We fished until after 3pm and called a day once we ran out of snacks in the boat. Haha. Hopefully tonight the bite will still be on. Water temp was 62°f and all fish were caught in 8-14 feet of water.

Thank you. Not from the area so we did not know to notify about it.

At it again today from 9am-2pm in Mohawk Bay. Hammered 6 Walleye and they were all beauties. Seems to me like they’re biting now that the weather is cooperating. All fish in 6-20 ft of water on worm harnesses.
