You need to give these people some more info if you're looking for advice...Introduce yourself, what size of boat/motor do you have, what species of fish are you targeting, fishing experience/knowledge, preferred techniques etc.... Read the reports leading up to your visit.

Talk with the guy at the park, pretty knowledgeable of the area. Lots of fish in the area. Lots of guys on the board fish different areas so add some details and we will gladly help you out..

We just left the area a few days ago. We trolled worm harnesses during the day (9am-3pm) in 10-25 ft of water. We managed to see quite a few boats that were trolling out in front of the Merland Park area. It might be a little bit deeper there but I heard some guys use deep divers and planer boards. We did some evening fishing as well and we targeted the shorelines in and around the Picton area using Bombers and Smithwicks and Rapalas. Our evening time was from 8 PM until roughly 1 or 2 AM. Best of luck and hope you catch some fish. Also I hope this information helps

Forgot to add that we actually caught some fish and after a cold Front passed through last Friday, the fish turned on by Monday and the fishing was fun and plentiful. Enjoy!!
