Just wondering if anyone has tried their luck down at Ram Island on Hay Bay? We had a good deal of success there last year when we came up.

Thanks ahead of time.

Buddy of mine was in that general area on the weekend and limited out a couple times over. All nice size eaters and on worm harnesses

Ya I fished Ram Sunday afternoon. Counted 11 boats, all of them fishing south of the island(west/south side) out in 15-20ft. Saw at least one net go over. No luck for me tho :(

We were there Saturday morning, lots of boats and fish were being caught. We had a nice fish fry ourselves.

Rams island is always a good spot. The rocky shoals and 8-14 ft of water areas make for great conditions this early in the season. One our go-to spots whenever we head to the BOQ. On opening weekend, there were dozens of boats down by the island but not much action. The weathe didn’t help. However, early last week (Monday and Tuesday May 7+8) we saw plenty of action coming from the many boats in the Ram Island/Church area. The bite really turned on then, and it seems as if the walleye are still feasting. Catch ‘me while there biting!!!
