I am curious if anyone has had any experience catching suspended walleye through the ice this winter. We were out @ Pt.Anne most of the Winter & kept marking large fish on the fishfinder but don't know if they were Eye's or "Snakes". Any info would be a big help for Next season.

Thanks to all.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to fish Quinte this winter but in winters past, one of my top techniques would be to jig about 1 ft off the bottom for about 5 min., then real up 4 or 5 cranks (about 1/2 the water depth) and jig there for about 5-10 minutes. Drop my lure back down and repeat. Many times I would get a strike after just realling up or after just dropping down. Deadly technique
