The bite is definitately back on.

Fished the weeds in Hay Bay and did well. Some of the fish are pretty aggressive. Had one do a backflip on the surface. Never seen that from a walleye.

Some nice bass in the mix.

Using our own harness concoction with plastic bait. Chartreuse and Copper worked. The way they were hitting, probably doesn't matter what you throw at them. Good east wind as well.

I've caught enough drum in the last 2 weeks to make a Neil Peart replica kit...can't keep the darn things away! And not much luck with walleye. grrr

Thanks for the info, I tried Deseronto with a worm harness in green, 2 nice eaters each time on two outings, lots of little fish to go back as well..

Hi, thank you for accepting an old fisherman to a great forum where there is so much local information and help. Ive been following the board for a few years now and is wonderful to see people helping each other with all aspects of fishing. I once saw a sign that read "Fishing isnt a matter of life or death, its more important than that" . Thanks again and tight lines.
