Correct... though I have witnessed several boats fishing them at my shoreline :(

100% positive they were too as I watched for several minutes

Nothing new there. Same every year....seems no one cares...particularly the MNR.

Yes there were also a few here on the Bay last weekend. Got a kick out of the idea that some were dumb enough to be throwing frog baits at the shoreline while the fisherpersons were on a $65000.00 plus bass boat. Purple metallic, 2 persons at Massassauga Point last Saturday about 11:00. More money then brains or a good line of credit.

If you are certain they are throwing frog baits then that is a no no, but lots of people are casting weedlines for Walleye.

Not casting weedlines, definite casting shorelines. The one boat was only 20 to 25 feet off the shore coming off of Mass. Point to the opposite side of the boat launch well before Rush.

Bass opener was not that good this year. I think the shad are in. Only manages 3 small largemouths. Anyone else have better luck?
