Friday’s wind forecast looks good. Anybody still fishing Lakers
Out through the gap, not looking for specifics just a heads up.
Or has the action shifted west to Scotch Bonnet or off Wicklow.
Still waiting for my transom saver to arrive, trying to fish closer to home.
Thanks

Don't know about the gap, but i might be able to fill in some gaps.

Bonnet might still have a few around. Last weekend i got one there but wasn't targeting them. I also got 2 over 17lbs out off salmon point, seems to be a few there.

I fish Wicklow a lot and haven't seen a laker out of there yet, just salmon and rainbows, but i am not fishing shallower water there so they might be in tighter.

I have a post on spoonpullers under my moniker "TunaSandwich" about salmon/rainbows 2 days ago if you are interested in other species off Wicklow

There will still be lakers off Amherst but they’ll be in deeper water now. I’ve caught off big bar shoal this time of year in 60-90 fow

I picked up a few lakers and rainbows off main duck 2 weeks ago. They were suspended 100 to 120 fow.
