Got out this AM - solo - and headed for Mallory - heard some fish caught there.

Started at 0900 and fish on at 0905 - nice 17 incher, trolled thru the weeds and there are LOTS of weeds and hit another over by the big weed bed in the middle, this was a 20 incher. Trolled for another hour and landed a pair of 14 inchers

Called it quits at 1100, a good SW breeze from Picton made it bearable as the temp on land is stupid hot. Fish caught on the Swinging Silver Uzick spinner, it's a prototype that I have used off and on for the years and it's working real good the couple of days.

Water temp in Hay Bay was 82 degs F this AM.

Stay Tuned

We can confirm that 82 F water temp, Dan.

Same numbers for the Quinte North Shore between Trenton and Belleville!

It did NOT stop The Bite early in the day, however. Weed clumps were a REAL pain-in-the-posterior.

Rgs, Wordpecker.
