I was wondering if anyone knows where me and my boys could go fishing and looking for frogs, turtles and snakes around Napanee. Large ponds or the like. They are young and need a more hands on approach. ;-)

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The Kingsford Conservation Area is a good spot. It's on Blessington Rd. off of Deseronto Rd. along the Salmon River. The kids can catch small fish and chase frogs. The river bed is flat limestone and a great place for spashing around.
I use to take my kids there. Had a blast.

Great thanks, we will check it out tonight. Any spots where we might find turtles and snakes?

Hit the park in Forest Mills, take 41 north of Selby turn left on the Cty Rd 12, at the Fridge Doctor, take 12 for about 5 mins and hit the bridge, the park is there, also if you go left over the bridge follow that to the falls at the old saw mill, nice swimming hole, or it used to be 40yrs ago...
