Early next week I'll be picking up my Scotty Propacs :D The question is, I have 3 batteries in the boat already. Will I need another specifically for the Propacs :?:

At what point is there too many :?:

I run one for the motor, one for the electronics and one for a pair of scotties. The one for the electronics goes down first. I don't find the riggers hard on batteries at all but if you can tell me how to rip out the #%^%low battery warning buzzer from my video gragh I'd appreciate it.

What do you have for an onboard charging system, do you charge all three or one at a time?

Hey Polliwog,

thanks appreciate any info! I plan on getting an onboard charging system to charge the two that aren't for cranking. Make sense?? So I figure to hook up to one of those!

We run our riggers off of the cranking battery. We have a triple bank charger. Your main motor will not keep up a solid charge on the cranking battery, I recommend you charge it after every trip whether with an onboard system or portable charger.

Optimun would be having a separate battery for all your accesories if room allows you to.

Good luck.
