Might be coming up for a few days - was wondering what the water level in the bay was - normally this time of the year it is low and some launches are tough to use - any thoughts - thanks - Joe

It is LOW - heard that Shermans is tough because you have to back so far in.

Gonna check Finkles Friday, the rest all would be the same.

Water is low, it took 4 of us to get my boat off lift last weekend, it's on the trailer for rest of season, for me last year was good till mid October, 2016 same issue last week of August, I may need to extend dock in spring?
Deseronto launch was okay to pull out last Saturday, saw a 24' cruiser hauled on Sunday.

Low enough in some spots you'll need a good East wind to help out.

And of course, "When the Wind's from the East...."~

Be careful by the Trenton boat launch close to the OPP station. There is a significant 1' drop on on the second launch that is to the south. Would highly recommend the first the one, came very close to scraping the trailer today and had to use 4wd to get out.

Any word on church launch?? The Glendora ferry is low but manageable. Stay close to the dock and you’re fine.

The church launch was still ok, I launched a 16’ boat today, the low water and short dock make it a little tricky but manageable.
Foggy this am couldn’t run the big motor for first hour and half because I couldn’t see! Water was 73 and the colour of pea soup, no walleye only managed 1big sheep.

Drove by the big island launch today and checked it out - maybe a foot of water at the end of the dock. Fine for a kayak but I decided not to get the boat :(
