I fished 3 hours yesterday afternoon. Dragging spinners all over the Bay 1.2 to 1.5 mph without a hit. Hard to believe last year at this time you had to hide not to catch a fish. Any suggestion. Is it just me, or others experiences the same. Just curious.

I tried trolling both spinners and hard baits managing one walleye with numerous perch. Yesterday was a strike out with nothing to show.

Anyone fish the mouth of the Trent river or that area? Went out this morning, and managed to land one small walleye in about 11 ft of water, with a bottom bouncer rig with a crawler. Lots of silver bass and panfish though, and a lot of crawlers nibbled away. Anyone have any recommendations? Are tail dancers and/or jigs the way to go this time of the year?

Find some deeper water with that bottom bouncer
