I know when the temperatures drop, the big girls enter the bay. I've been told once the water hits the mid-fifties, there are more fish around to be caught. With the cooler weather, must be on the way down.

Can anyone share what the water temperatures are in Adolphus Reach now?

Thanks any help!

Surface temp was 61 out there today. Getting closer, but need a few more weeks of cold weather to get things going.

That's warmer than Westlake, Jesse.

In the absence of personally taking a temp reading, you can get an idea from this page

West lake should cool faster it’s way less water and much shallower.

Anyone know temps near the ferry?

Yes, It's that time of year again. A few more weeks and the water temperature will be perfect! Can't wait!

Any updates on water temp for this week? Thinking about making the 3.5 hour drive within a couple weeks and wondering if I am wasting my time? Last year made a trip in October and didn't have much luck. Went back in November and we got into them good. Thanks for any help and I will be sure to post a report once I make the trip down.

A few more weeks should be good.

I was at Sherman's point on Oct 22 and it was 10C (50 f), (not Adolph reach but...) Nada fish, not even perch in the usual spots
