Good morning, I’m looking for someone that had a good experience with a Lund dealer within a couple hundred miles of Kingston. Looking for good sales, rigging department, and after purchase service. Looking for someone that has purchased fully loaded 1875 Pro-V Sport or 1875 Pro-V Bass and had a great dealer experience. Thanks, BATMAN

Second that, I just picked up 1875 ProV with w/2 Evinrudes on it. Wes is excellent and will make sure you are happy. This shop will rig non-merc motors to your lund if you wanted.

Bid, Thanks

What do you think about traffic charges on new boats from US ? Do you grit your teeth and pay it ?

I WISH Trudeau would drop this tarfix.

Once you get past the point that "you know you can't afford it", you won't even notice the extra fees :)

The higher the price of the boat, the better the trade in anyway if you look at it that way. I have seen 2 of my older boats traded in still retain value, one a ranger and one a lund as long as they are looked after.

LD powersports in Godfrey right on hwy 38 is also an excellent dealership. They don’t have the bigger boats in stock like bay marine does as it’s more back lake country back there. They stock the 16-18 ft boats but will order in anything you want and will hang an Evinrude on the back of them also. I have Never bought a boat from them but know at least 6 guys that have and all have good things to say. I also know guys that have bought from bay marine with nothing but good to say.

Moosebunk did a pretty extensive write up on his experience buying a Pro Guide 1875 from Carleton Place. Sounds like it might be worth a look.

Dan,

The plan would be to put Helix 10’s on bow and console. There would be an Ethernet switch to network the two Helex units to an 36v Ultrex iPilot Link. I will use a Navionics Greatlakes GPS chip until a Canadian LakeMaps chip is available to utilize contour tracking that is currently available in the US. Plan to purchase the Bluetooth controller that allows custom remote control of both Helix settings. Helix on bow to use Ultrex universal sonar transducer. Helix on console to have side and down scan imagining. Shopping would be more fun if new boats didn’t have tariff charges. They are significant. Thanks to everyone for comments.

THANKS,
BATMAN
