Saw a post elsewhere of a lad who caught a real nice one from shore in Kingston. Looked like evening hours from the pic..might be wortha try for evening bite from some areas such as Milhaven, Collin's Bay, DuPont, Portmouth, etc

I've never shore fished on Quinte, but have for many years on other lakes in the fall. We use a pickerel rig and a bobber. Seems to be better when the wind/waves are blowing in towards you, or at least sideways. The waves keep your bobber bouncing and it jigs the rig for you. Hands Free!!! The spot I go to is only about 2-4 FOW so don't ever think you are too shallow. Just before the sun goes down and a few hours after that seems to be the best for me. Good Luck!!!
