Went with good buddy Ed in his very comfy 522d Ranger out of waupoos for a last kick at the smallmouth can. We fished around the islands doing alot of jumping around as we were catching a few fish but not stacked up like in past years. The water temp was 42. We ended the day with about 15 fish. No big monsters with most around 4 lbs. The tube in goby colors caught most of the fish but also a few on dropshots.

Nice day out for sure ,, does the colder water temps slow the fight down or do they still go like hell?

Thanks folks. The cold water doesn't slow them down, they still fight good but I notice they don't jump as much.
