Was invited to fish Walleye last week and sat on the fence cause not only has the weather been unpredictable but the snow tires weren't gonna do they're job sitting in the shed so I was leaning owards installing them Saturday. With the forecast changing for the better and no snow for the week ahead it didn't take much arm twisting for me to pack my cold weather gear and get some shut eye cor the day ahead.

Hit the road at 4:30 and at the Picton ramp before sunrise. We made the run past the ferry and dropped lines at the lighthouse. Made a few passes went 3 for 4 with 2 in the double digits. Pulled the limes in and finished the day trolling the Long Reach with nothing to show for it but a Ducks wing that somehow found it's way onto a hook.

Great to get out and enjoy good company on the water.

Snow tires are still in the shed. Hope it doesn't snow next week.

Well done! A couple of nice looking fish, warm temperatures, calm water and a day out with your buddy. It looks like you made a good choice. Thanks for your post!

Cheers,

Kevin
