Location: The County
Was wondering how much ice is off Big Island, Weller's, or off Potters. My cousin has been out off Big Island and is nailing walleye but says there only about 4 inches! That's not enough for myself with how quickly the ice conditions can change around here with the current and weather. Just curious to see what other people are seeing when they are out. Anybody catching anything?

Was out on potters this morning 3 inches where I was no fish for us this morning

I had to do an errand in Trenton this afternoon and on my way back pulled in to a nearly full parking lot at potters. Lots of folks fishing, I heard 3" of ice. Freezing rain tonight and rain all day tomorrow with mild temps of +6. I'm parking my butt on a couch and not a bucket till it gets colder.

Safest ice is in my glass. I'm thinking new year before there's safe ice.

I was out at potters yesterday. Spudded out and had a solid 4 where I was. But as everyone knows, I know the conditions in that 8 inch circle only. Dont trust anyone about the ice. Spud, spud, spud.
Stats. 12.6fow
2:30 - 3:30 PM
7 perch and 1 catfish about 1.5lb
No eyes I could see around the dozen or so huts that were out.
Going to fish Cobia for the week. Back on the ice in 2019.

Is anybody else planning to go tomorrow? I am hoping the cold weather tonight will put things in decent shape for Sunday. Probably hoping to get down to potters or big island
