Ice conditions mouth of trent river and moira river

Thinking about coming up to target walleye around the mouth of trent river or moira river. What are the ice conditions like? Has anyone spent anytime fishing there yet this year?

Here's a good video. I'd be super cautious on ice around flowing water.

I wouldn't go to the Trent River it was wide open on Sat Jan5th
