Fished pt Anne this afternoon. At dark while walking off notices what looked to be 4 police cars with their lights flashing over on big Island east of wagers farm. Looked like they were right at the shoreline. Didn't see any spotlights on the ice.
On the fishing front I smell like a skunk. Marked about 10 fish and 3 bit but striped me clean. Guys with me each hit a fish each about 3 lbs. Ice where I was was 7+". As we were walking out I remarked the ice was so smooth could of skated out then as I was sitting in the hut a guy skated by pulling his hut. Might have to sharpen up the ole Bauer's

I hope they're okay that must have been very scary. If they were by the can I'd say mile walk on ice just to get to shore. I've being out there twice this year and the ice was pretty decent from 4 inches to 6 inches before the cold snap.
Were they walking or ATV's, sled? There was a lot of people out there this weekend many holes have been made.
I decided to stay home today and wait for more news" more information" on exactly how they went in.

Everyone stay safe
