Checked this morning and there was still a small open spot with a few swans in it. I threw a good size rock up near the peers and it broke through about 1 inch of ice. A couple weeks ago it was wide open half way across to dead creek. So there is an unsafe stretch that runs from the point to about half way across towards dead creek that is about 100 feet wide. The ice up by the houses is a good 7-10 inches and then drops to 1 inch at this stretch a few hundred feet from shore.
