Ventured out yesterday afternoon at Huffs from 1:30 till 5pm setting up in 27 FOW. Shortly before 3 pm saw a big mark come up quickly from bottom on my Marcum Showdown and hit on a large Swedish pimple, silver with red prism (go figure). After a good but short fight a beautiful 12 pound plus walleye (on boga grip, approx 31") was on the ice. Quick pictures and a good release. She lives to fight another day. Successful landing by my husband (he made me say this, lol).

Ice was at least 8" thick with very small amount of snow.
Not sure what it would look like today after this latest dump of snow.
