Has the ice taken a beating to the point of being dangerous?

It is a long drive for me for the afternoon I have available. Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

No, I am not, Sam. I do know your Dad and your uncle though and we have met briefly in passing at the Sportsmen Show and one or two other times.

I am hoping to go and try some Quinte walleye fishing later this week.

Salty dog do you fish with Bucky? Well maybe we will run into each other again! Make sure to say hi the girlfriend and I will be there late Friday - Monday afternoon! Keep in touch!

At Huff's today. Soild 8 inches to a little over half way and then a sudden 4 inches. I liked the 8 way better.
Some marks and chasing the lure but no takers. Spoke with a few guys but no fish.
Got a text that they were biting in Hay Bay. Oh well. Sounds like I'm shovelling snow tomorrow.

I was going to say the same. No where near 8" out in the middle, and mostly white ice where I set up. Things change quickly out there when the current starts ripping like it was on the weekend. Same spot did have 8"+ two weeks ago.

Thanks but, for some reason I can’t see them that’s why I asked. Maybe I’ll have to try on my Mac?

Sam, I am a friend of Bucky's and we do fish frequently during the summer. Colder months he is really busy with this daughter's rep hockey.

There is the Sherman's Point Boat Launch (google maps) where I would launch my boat in the past. I can tell you another spot as well if you send me private message (big secret........lol)
